Who we are looking for #
For MAAHA Travel, a Journey Curator is the essential key to creating adventures so authentic that they become unforgettable moments.
More than a travel agent, it means becoming the host of a destination, able to reveal it from a local perspective, guiding with recommendations toward the most authentic and memorable places. Something only someone who truly lives in, or feels connected to, that place could do.
You have a genuine relationship with your destination #
You don't know your city from TripAdvisor tours. You know it because you have spent years walking it, exploring it, building relationships with the people who make it unique. You have access to places, experiences and people that no tourist would find on their own, and that is no accident. It is the result of years of active curiosity.
You understand what real service means #
You have worked in luxury hospitality, in aviation, in hotel concierge, in high-level customer care, or you simply have an innate disposition toward caring for others that shows from the very first interaction. You know that exceptional service is not servility.
It is anticipation, discretion and presence when it is needed.
You are discreet by nature #
Our clients trust us with their most important moments: honeymoons, anniversaries, sensitive business trips, intimate family experiences. Discretion is company policy at MAAHA.

Our search is open to people who live — or have lived deeply — in one of the following destinations:
Mexico: Tulum, Holbox, La Paz, Puerto Vallarta, Oaxaca, Mexico City, Puerto Escondido.
Europe: Rome, Barcelona & Istanbul.
LATAM: Lima, São Paulo & Buenos Aires
Asia: Tokyo, Kyoto & Seoul.
Middle East: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Amman & Cairo.
If your destination isn't on this list but you feel you are a perfect fit for everything you have read so far, write to us anyway. We don't close doors ahead of time.
You speak more than one language and use it to connect, not just to communicate #
We believe a Journey Curator can be anyone who shares the characteristics above, who can communicate in Spanish, English or another language, and who also has the willingness, time and motivation to be part of the MAAHA Travel project.
How to apply #
Write to us at explore@maahatravel.com with the subject line “Journey Curator — [Your Destination]” and tell us three things:
1. Your destination and your relationship with it. How long have you been there? What do you know about that place that no tourist would find on their own?
2. An experience you would design for a MAAHA client. It doesn't have to be elaborate. It has to be real — based on something you know first-hand and that you know would change the way someone sees that destination.
3. Why MAAHA and not any other agency. Tell us what has resonated with you and what you believe is essential to being part of the team.
